I'm glad I didn't read the negative reviews before going. They say everyone speaks of the fair according to their own experience. Respecting other opinions, my own personal opinion is that: the place, a Porfirian-era mansion in excellent condition, the excellent cuisine, the well-prepared drinks, and the attentive and personalized service—in this case, by a waiter named Germán and the courtesy of one of the owners who checked on our table to make sure everything was alright—truly make the difference, as the name of the place suggests.
Very spacious and with good architecture, the food tastes good.
Contrary to all the reviews, the service was very personal from the moment we arrived. We were served quickly. Both the tuna with capers and the rib eye were delicious and well-seasoned. The waiter was very courteous and always attentive to any questions we might need, from wine to bread to water. This place is truly worth a visit. Despite the negative reviews, I would definitely go back.

Great service, the quality and quantity of yhe food is good. The price for the food is fare. It has a great view and the house is super pretty. If you get the chance to purchase a Groupon do it.
Best food we had in Guadalajara anywhere. We tried hard to find good food in Guadalajara but everywhere else seems to be mostly very greasy Mexican good. The food here at Cocina is great. Creative seafood dishes. The restaurant is in a relaxing colonial setting. The service is classy and attentive. Not too expensive. Check if they are open as they open late in the day.
